It was not a bad little kit. The only incorrect part that I found was the wind screen. I stretch molded one to replace the original...

F3H Demon. Emhar kit EM 3002. 1/72nd
I had expected the kit to be crude but ended up impressed with its accuracy and good fit. It really was an easy model to complete. Note, in checking a June, 1992 review of the kit in SAM, I found that Emhar produced two versions.

RF-84F Thunderflash. Italeri Kit 1108. 1/72nd
In the early 1980s, Italeri (then called Italerei) issued kits of the F-84F and RF-84F. These kits featured a number of inter-changeable parts and represented the technology of the time – raised panel lines and sparse cockpit detail. Italeri have recently re-released these kits in new boxing and with new decals.

F-84 G Thunderjet. Tamiya. 1/72nd
All in all, the kit was a pleasure to build and both the kit and the aftermarket decals went on well. I used Testors Model Master Metalizer paints to duplicate the natural metal finish.

Convair F-106 Delta Dart. Hasegawa. 1/72nd
The model is from Hasegawa, an old kit in /172 scale. The model is rather simple, needing additional detailing.

Boeing X-32 JSF. Italeri Kit 1208. 1/72nd
The Italeri kit assembled without any major problems although I made a minor change to the sequence. I glued the intake assembly, parts 6A and 7A, to the lower fuselage rather than the upper. I wanted to ensure a clean joint inside the air intake and felt that I could clean up any problems when the upper and lower fuselage joined.

C-46 Commando. Williams Brothers. 1/72nd Kit 72-346
he kit was designed in the mid-1970’s and compares poorly with more modern kits but it is the only kit of C-46 and it is accurate according to measurements and comparison with photos. Before starting assembly of the kit, the modeler must plan to carve plastic to finish the kit. This is because Williams Brothers molded features from various models of the C-46 into this kit and modelers will have to modify something, no matter which version they choose to build.

I was very pleased with the final appearance of the model. It accurately represents the appearance and sit of the original aircraft and made a good addition to my collection.
