Like the other CMR Spitfire kits, this one is a very straight-forward build, proving no harder than a comparable styrene kit in most respects. Fit is very good, and only a few tiny pin-holes needed attention on the wing’s leading edge. Some historical notes are provided, but obviously CMR can be no more precise than any other historian as to the exact shades of blue-grey the aircraft was, as the information does not exist. The kit is well suited as a first resin build for an experienced modeller, and will add a very attractive model to anyone’s Spitfire collection.
