We have two decal sheets covering USAAF 8 inch serial numbers in 1/48th and 1/72nd scale

Link to Eight inch serials for USAF aircraft at our on-line shop.

These sheets include seven styles of black 8 inch numbers including stencil and non-stencil styles as used on P-40, P-47 and P-51 Mustangs etc.

Lieutenant George D McElroy’s P-51D ‘EATIN’ STUFF II’, Italy 1944. This profile was first published in Ventura “Classic Warbirds” No.3, which is still available from our on-line store.

New Zealand Territorial Air Force (TAF) Mustang NZ2416 circa 1952 with part of it’s original US serial number, 4511506, still on the rudder. This aircraft was assembed in June 1952 and issued to No.1 Auckland Squadron in July 1952. (via P Dingwall)
